The UK organisation has been active since 1990 and it's members include dancers from all disciplines and all levels of training and expertise, we also have a growing number of those working in physical thatre, acting and visuals arts. Although it is in Britain we are part of the International Christian Dance Fellowship, which has members in over 20 countries around the world. It exists to support, encourage and train christian dancers- to help them with professional dance careers and in ministries. We want to encourage everyone to know that dance is a natural expression of ourselves and in our relationship with God. Everyone, regardless of training, background, weight or age is wlcome! The Fellowship is interdenominational and is not affiliated to any particular denomination, we are Christian. Missionstatement: The CDFB exists to support, encourage and to train dancers and to equip them to use dance in praise, worship, prayer, performance and teaching. Every year our mebers get the chance to attend over 25 regional workshops in the UK with one national conference (every 2 years this is residentional) We have 450 members Members receive 2 newsletters a year. People should join us because we can help, support and train you. It's a great way to network and because airtravel is so inexpensive there has never been a time to travel around Europe to attend workshops
