Crescendo is a ministry amongst professional classical musicians and other artists. Goals: Networking, encouraging in profession and faith, creating different ways to give a Christian testimony in the cultural world, serving the churches.Our main countries with full- and part time staff in Europe are: Switzerland Germany Austria Latvia Estonia Russia Sweden Hungary Mission statement: Together with other ministries and churches we want to launch spiritual movements everywhere in the field of the arts so that every artist knows someone who truly follows Jesus and that Christian values and the Biblical message constantly penetrates our society through art of high quality. History: Crescendo started with prayer and Bible study groups among music students in Basel/Switzerland and spread quickly to other countries. Special highlights are big concerts and festivals (each years in Moldavia), orchestra tours to different countries, The “Summer Institute of the Arts” in Hungary and the cooperation with Franz Mohr (Steinway & Sons). Crescendo is part of CCCi / AGAPE Europe and has 13 full and part time. Crescendo Arts started in 2003 as a ministry among other artists (painters, actors, writers, etc.) Goals: - Networking Christian Artists and Musicians around the world - Supporting musicians and artists in their faith and profession: - Being “salt in the culture world - Serving churches and Christian ministries Values: Attitude of mutual encouragement. Networking with other movements. Kingdom of God-perspective. Religion: Various backgrounds of all Christian denominations (Protestant, catholic, Anglican, orthodox, free churches). - Many local, regional and international conferences for musicians and artists - Prayer, Bible study and mentoring groups in music high schools, orchestras, operas, theatres, etc. - Worldwide Prayer Days of Artists, taking place each March in many countries. - Concerts, Art Festivals, Summer Institute of the Arts for young musicians and Artists - Lecture tours with famous artists - Creative Church Services: interdenominational evangelistic church services with arts
