Possible Venues: Churches of all denominations, Schools - religious and secular, Nursing homes and retirement centers, Confirmation classes, Prisons, Hospitals, Social Service Groups, Community and government organizations, Our History: Covenant Players is a professional christian theater ministry founded in 1963 by playwright and director, Charles M. Tanner. His vision of using drama to communicate the reality of Christ to a modern audience led to the fielding of touring troupes throughout the world. We serve churches of all denominations and a myriad of community organizations. We tailor-make the program for each user group by selecting plays to target the requested theme and audience. Scope of the ministry: Over 150 people serving in North America, Europe, Southern Africa, Asia and Australia. Our World Headquarters is in Oxnard, California USA and our European Continental Office is located in the Westerwald region of Germany. The Covenant Players, themselves, represent many different nationalities and come from a diversity of Christian denominational backgrounds.
